In 1957, Charles Martin started Martin Electric Company, in El Campo, TX, which is where you will find us today. We have proudly served the greater Texas area for over 50 years and are now in operation by the 2nd generation of the Martin family. After graduating from Texas A & M University, in 1977, Ken Martin proudly runs our company, and has served as the President of Martin Electric since 1993. He still oversees each job that comes in our door and strongly believes old fashion values still stand. Not only do we provide your commercial, industrial, oilfield, and offshore electrical needs, but we are also committed to doing so with customer satisfaction in mind.

We offer a full service parts department that is dedicated to serving you. Shop Martin Electric for all your electrical needs, from conduit, wire, disconnects, breakers, to pole line parts, we have it all. We sell to the public, so if you are ever unable to locate a particular electrical part, come in and see us, we may have it, or be able to locate it for you. The next time you have an electrical question, call on us for our knowledge and expertise. Our goal is to have the best customer service that keeps you coming back.

We can provide all your electric motor repairs. Our motor shop is equipped to rewind or repair a motor anywhere from ¼ hp to 1,000hp. We are UL rated for explosion proof motors and generators. Combined, we have a total of over 119 years experience in our motor repair and rewind shop. We also offer new, remanufactured, or surplus motors, depending on your needs. In addition, we offer pick up and delivery services, as requested.

Electrical contracting is another service that we are proud to offer you. This is where our skill meets our experience, since one of our electricians has been with Martin Electric Company for over 45 years. We offer commercial, industrial, oilfield, and offshore electrical contracting. To better serve you, our electricians are on call 24 hrs. a day. With over 139 years combined experience at Martin Electric, we are here to service you yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
